Villach Evangelical Church

We are a group of people from Villach and the surrounding area who believe in JESUS CHRIST and strive to live amicably together as a church. God`s love for us impacts and fills our lives, regardless of age, nationality or profession.

We believe Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life”. We are convinced that God created every human as a unique individual and we believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins in order that we might be reconciled to God. We believe in the changing power of God`s love and the Holy Spirit.

We desire that by using the gifts God has given us, His love may be visible in our lives. We marvel at God`s creation and we endeavour to live by Christian values in our society. God`s Word, the Bible, is the guideline for our thoughts and actions. We want to share the Good News of the Bible with those around us and make a positive contribution to life in our community.

As a church, we are a member of the “Evangelical Union of Churches in Austria” (BEG) and the “Free Churches in Austria” (FKÖ). The “Free Churches in Austria” was founded in 2013 and has been granted official church status in Austria.

We extend a warm welcome to all who wish to attend our church services.

Church service: Sundays 9.30 a.m.

The service is held in our church building in Dr. Karl Renner Platz 2a, 9523 Landskron.
